Web-Based UI
Longitude is 100% web-enabled. You view alerts,
perform administrative tasks, and review reports
right from your browser, securely, and with
no impact on your firewall. No ActiveX controls,
plug-ins, or applets are required anywhere in
Longitude, so with the proper security authorization
you can access and administer it anywhere from your browser.
Event Monitor with Computer
View
The Event Monitor serves as a central monitoring
station for Longitude, allowing you to view
events, troubleshoot issues, and respond to
problems from a single interface. Drill down
for real time troubleshooting, modify performance
thresholds, enable notification and corrective
actions, and suspend or disable events.

Alerts and Actions
Automatically receive e-mail & pager alerts
and execute corrective action based on specified
event handling policies. Using rules you specify
through the GUI (no scripting necessary), Longitude
provides meaningful alerts and initiates corrective
action.
Windows Event Log Consolidation
Consolidate any Windows event logs across the
network for event displays and reports, or to trigger Longitude

transactions per managed device, including checks
for DNS, FTP, HTTP connect, HTTP URL, NNTP,
Ping, Ping critical, Port, SMTP, SQL connect,
SSH, Telnet, Unix connect, Unix process, Windows
process, and WMI connect.
